Department of Environmental Health
The Department of Environmental Health is one of the basic scientific
departments in the College of Environmental Sciences, which aims to expand
the scope of environmental health education and enhance awareness in the field
of human health and the environment resulting from environmental interactions
and modifications that may occur in various elements of the natural
environment and facilities, as well as global environmental change. The
Environmental Health Department senses the negative impact of the
environment on human health and controlling these effects, which requires
focusing on dangerous factors in the environment, including chemical,
biological, and radioactive pollutants, and physical environmental factors, and
conducting studies of the sources of environmental distribution of such
elements, and human exposure to them, Environmental risk assessment,
prevention and intervention strategies.
